The World Cup and silly European bigotry

We see the silliness of questioning integration models across Europe down to football successes and failures. Oh the utter silliness of European bigotry! Bad football in the World Cup means bad integration and good football means good integration?! What about migrant success in other fields that are not as visible as the World Cup?
Kunnen de minderheid voetballers ook goed burgers zijn? Europese elftallen met veel goed succes (Nederland en Duitsland) hebben niet probleem op minderheid voetballers. Maar de verhaal in Frankrijk is een raciste probleem over World Cup mislukking. Zo dan – goed voetbal is ook goed voor sociale integratie van etnische minderheden, maar slechte voetbal is slechte voor sociale integratie van etnische minderheden?

The current success of Oranje in the 2010 World Cup appears to be an opportunity for the Oranje Nation to have a real spirit of national unity that even the VVD party in Amsterdam wants a street party for – in support of the national team made up of many ethnic minorities.

Will Freedom win in the Netherlands?

It is hoped that the major parties can see that the freedom and liberties of of all, including Muslims, is a very important part of Dutch national identity and excluding the PVV will serve to preserve it. I restate my call for the Netherlands to rediscover its history and national character grounded in being a beacon of religious freedom and human rights! While the gains by Wilders is nothing but a protest vote – the Netherlands needs to do what Job Cohen states: Rebuild a society of civility and inclusiveness for all who live in the Netherlands – along with a deep respect for freedom, including religious freedom.

Dutch liberty safe with Mark Rutte and VVD

Mark Rutte believes in freedom of expression – but claims that religious books “are just books,” just as he claims the PVV “is just another political party.” Rutte’s passionate pleas, in Dutch and English, sound like a true Dutch liberal – and let’s hope that Rutte vows that freedom of expression includes the right to chose to be or not be a Muslim.

Geert Wilders constantly moans about two things, the first is that “everybody is threatening him” (including Job Cohen), and as described here – is “being persecuted for his freedom of speech.” Well – some “free speech” – over the “Islamisering” myth should, indeed, be prosecuted!
