The Dutch and America, Wars and Invasions
The Dutch were with Mr Balkenende the equalivant of Blair in the UK. The strong and compelling desire to follow American into sometimes illegal action and invasions is how we arrived at crisis in the Netherlands

Abolish the “no fly” list!
The focus on people versus environments is what American law enforcement does- which often results in profiling and other types of labeling. Innocent people are harassed. This includes the political profiling of air passengers, which appears to be going on unabated. Let's work for an end to "no fly" and "selectee" lists, which are tempting political harassment tools - and move to secure airplanes from harmful instrumentality.

The Ron Paul Revolution
The hope for some is here, and Ron Paul would be good for Europe.Ron Paul is a glowing meteor that many think is America’s new savor. Here in the States, the name of Ron Paul is on the lips of many who call talkshow, tv shows, including C-SPAN, and of course, all over the Internet. Ron Paul reminds me of Pat Buchanan, the traditional American Conservative. The traditional American Conservative is, although I disagree, quite a bit rational and sane than the Conservatives nowadays. The Conservatives of today (neoconservatives)are, regrettably, what people like Sarkozy of France and Harper of Canada want to be like- childish, corrupt, slightly dafted, looking for offensive wars, running roughshod over civil rights, human rights and international law. Ron Paul would change this by bringing honor, decency and respect for norms back to American Conservatives.
Along with the Lisbon Treaty, the election of Ron Paul could, finally, mean the liberation of Europe from the American military yoke. Ron Paul has vowed to end useless war, as well as costly power projection schemes. It might mean a partnership between the US and Europe based on respect for international law, as well as individual liberty. Ron Paul believes that American troops should come home from both Iraq and Europe. The maintenance of troops in Europe, as well as Iraq, are costly and the money should be spent on Americans. Feeding the useless beast of power projection is costly for an nation and a “strong military” need not be defined by power projection.
America should not be rushing to the far corners of the Earth, with gun in hand, to “spread democracy.” American needs to stay out of other people’s business, including in Pakistan!
What I disagree with is Ron Paul’s idea of cutting back on social spending and welfare. So as long as there are LESS good jobs for people who need them, we NEED welfare, social assistance. The best form of social welfare is a living wage job - and America NEEDS to build more and more jobs for its people! We cannot eliminate social assistance so as long as the jobs are scarce!I also disagree with the abolition of the Department of Education. What is wrong in America is the electorate is often a lack critical thinking skills. Returning to the days of the ox cart where parents had to pay for their child’s education would mean that illiteracy would skyrocket. To become an informed voter, reading skills, as well as critical thinking skills are needed. And-the ability to develop the most members of the population through education means a larger pool of people that can advance science and industry. A free education, including college, ensures the the most talent can be developed.
Ron Paul would restore our freedoms and liberties that have been lost through the useless “war on terror.” The “war on terror” has been largely directed internally, at innocent citizens in Canada, Europe, as well as in America. Thousands of innocent people are subject to “no fly” lists. There is the threat (yes *threat*) of innocent people being given “risk assessment ratings” which will, undoubtedly, be unfair, unjust, with NO due process and standing for 40 years! Ron Paul would put a stop to this terrorist obsession and madness!
